We raise mostly Scottish Blackface sheep, a breed prevalent in the UK. They are hardy, hill breed, built for surviving in the highlands of Scotland. They are fantastic mothers, easy keepers, and their lamb is both mild and delicious. We purchased a Blue Faced Leicister ram to cross with a few of our Scottie ewes this fall to make Scotch Mules. This cross makes for a very fast growing lamb, more size and length from the BFL and hardiness from the Scottie.
If you are interested in lambs or ewes, we do have several crossbred animals available for purchase either for breeding or butchering. We have also retained 2 Scottish Blackface Ram lambs that will be available for purchase or for trade. Please go to our contact page for our information.
